Livelihood - Sewing Machine
With rising unemployment in Pakistan, it is becoming increasingly difficult for poorer families to sustain their livelihoods. Ehsaas Trust’s Livelihood Assistance Projects aim to provide essential tools and training to help individuals earn a stable income. A sewing machine costing just £75 can empower someone like Rukhsana Saleem, who shared: "From poverty, I am now able to support my whole family by stitching clothes. Water Pumps ( Small and Large)
Hundreds of water-holes and hand pumps have been installed, mainly in the centre of villages, to ensure that more families have access and can benefit from these hand pumps. Ehsaas has installed over 4,600 Water Pumps and 147 Water Wells to date.
