5. What is a gift aid?

Gift Aid is a valuable initiative that enhances the impact of your charitable donations. By participating in Gift Aid, you enable the charity you're supporting to claim back an additional amount from the government, equivalent to the basic rate of tax you've already paid on your donation. This means your contribution goes further at no extra cost to you. If you're a UK taxpayer, your donations can make an even greater difference through Gift Aid, helping your chosen charity achieve more with every pound you give. Most charities rely on Gift Aid to operate, especially those who operate a 100% donation policy. All you need to do is enable Gift Aid on the app when donating and we will do the rest. No other steps are required from you.

6. What is an App fee? Is it compulsory to include them?

13. How to delete my account?

To delete your account, first login to the Pocket App with your username and password. Go to the profile page and click Delete my account option. Once you have confirmed, the account will be permanently deleted and all the data including transaction history, likes and comments will be erased.
